Martin Sheen plays a troubled and withdrawn retired astronaut, who once explored the moon. He forms a mentoring relationship with a young high school student who is obsessed with space exploration. The boy's interest and dedication earn Paul's trust, leading him to leave the boy with an incredible secret from space.
