At 1:55 in the morning, Joe Ferrone and Artie Connors went looking for kicks.   They found it seven minutes later by taking control of a New York City subway car and holding the passengers hostage.  Although outnumbered,   the teenagers take advantage of the passengers' passivity and unwillingness to act together.
