In 1863, the Northern and Southern forces met at Gettysburg in the epic decisive battle of the American Civil War.  This depiction of the war features thousands of civil war re-enactors marching over the exact ground where the federal army and the army of North Virginia fought.   Among the attack plans and speeches of the generals are softer moments of personal reflection by the fighting men.   Based upon the novel "The Killer Angels".
